Kısa adıyla BAP (Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri), yüksek öğretim kurumlarındaki bilimsel araştırmaların desteklenmesi amacıyla geliştirilmiş bir uygulamadır. Bu uygulama YÖK'ün 01.01.2002 tarihinden geçerli olmak üzere yürülüğe aldığı Yükseköğretim Kurumları Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri Hakkında Yönetmelik uyarınca gerçekleştirilmektedir. Üniversitemizin tüm öğretim elemanları BAP Komisyonuna başvurarak bilimsel araştırmaları için kaynak alabilirler. Details

At Anadolu University, social and cultural activities are as important as education and scientific research. The University frequently holds scientific events such as conferences, seminars, panels, congresses and symposia, and cultural activities such as exhibitions, stage performances and concerts. In addition to smaller conference halls in each unit, Atatürk Culture and Arts Center, Congress Center and Cinema Anadolu on Yunusemre Campus house many activities throughout the year.

SOCIAL FACILITIES

Istanbul – Aksaray Guesthouse

A former student dormitory in Istanbul was restored by Anadolu University, and has been used as a guesthouse since 1999. The guesthouse has a total capacity of 56 rooms and 80 beds, including 23 suit, 13 single and 20 double rooms. The capacity increases to 119 beds with extra beds in the bed-and-breakfast guesthouse.

The suit rooms all feature air conditioner, mini fridge, TV, Wi-Fi, electric stove and hairdryer. The roof on the seventh floor overlooks the sea, and houses an Internet café, TV hall, American bar and breakfast hall, where open buffet breakfast, hot and cold non-alcoholic beverages and appetizers and snacks are served.

The roof has a perfect view of the Marmara Sea from Fatih Mosque to the Blue Mosque, from the Old Istanbul and Islands (Adalar) to Samatya. There is a full-fledged meeting hall with a capacity of 60 people on the sixth floor. The guesthouse is open to all civil servants besides the personnel of Anadolu University.
