    Eskişehir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences, founded in 1958, formed the basis of Anadolu University. The Academy was replaced by Anadolu University in 1982, which has gained a well-deserved place as a modern, dynamic and innovative institution among the largest universities not only in Türkiye, but also in the world.

    Kısa adıyla BAP (Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri), yüksek öğretim kurumlarındaki bilimsel araştırmaların desteklenmesi amacıyla geliştirilmiş bir uygulamadır. Bu uygulama YÖK'ün 01.01.2002 tarihinden geçerli olmak üzere yürülüğe aldığı Yükseköğretim Kurumları Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri Hakkında Yönetmelik uyarınca gerçekleştirilmektedir. Üniversitemizin tüm öğretim elemanları BAP Komisyonuna başvurarak bilimsel araştırmaları için kaynak alabilirler.

    At Anadolu University, social and cultural activities are as important as education and scientific research. The University frequently holds scientific events such as conferences, seminars, panels, congresses and symposia, and cultural activities such as exhibitions, stage performances and concerts. In addition to smaller conference halls in each unit, Atatürk Culture and Arts Center, Congress Center and Cinema Anadolu on Yunusemre Campus house many activities throughout the year.

# Field Qualifications
1 have basic theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of foreign trade,
2 have the ability to use the knowledge acquired in the field of foreign trade in their decisions, practices and behaviours,
3 have the ability to analyze, interpret and evaluate information related to foreign trade,
4 fulfill the duties and responsibilities given,
5 take responsibility for issues faced in practice or unforeseen as a member of the team or individually,
6 make a critical evaluation of the knowledge and skills they acquire,
7 indicate that they comprehend the need for lifelong learning,
8 be open to join the programmes oriented to learning needs,
9 communicate their ideas and suggestions related to foreign trade to the relevant people in written and oral form,
10 tend to help their colleagues and work in team,
11 have knowledge of a foreign language at the level of being able to communicate with their colleagues and follow the information/developments in foreign trade,
12 have basic computer and software knowledge related to foreign trade field, and use communication and informatics technologies,
13 act in accordance with the values of the organisation, institution, work, society and ethics,
14 have enough awareness of occupational safety and health, quality and cultural values as well as environmental protection, social justice, and universal social rights,
15 be open to innovation and change.
