Eskişehir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences, founded in 1958, formed the basis of Anadolu University. The Academy was replaced by Anadolu University in 1982, which has gained a well-deserved place as a modern, dynamic and innovative institution among the largest universities not only in Türkiye, but also in the world.

Kısa adıyla BAP (Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri), yüksek öğretim kurumlarındaki bilimsel araştırmaların desteklenmesi amacıyla geliştirilmiş bir uygulamadır. Bu uygulama YÖK'ün 01.01.2002 tarihinden geçerli olmak üzere yürülüğe aldığı Yükseköğretim Kurumları Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri Hakkında Yönetmelik uyarınca gerçekleştirilmektedir. Üniversitemizin tüm öğretim elemanları BAP Komisyonuna başvurarak bilimsel araştırmaları için kaynak alabilirler.

At Anadolu University, social and cultural activities are as important as education and scientific research. The University frequently holds scientific events such as conferences, seminars, panels, congresses and symposia, and cultural activities such as exhibitions, stage performances and concerts. In addition to smaller conference halls in each unit, Atatürk Culture and Arts Center, Congress Center and Cinema Anadolu on Yunusemre Campus house many activities throughout the year.

2	Possesses knowledge of theory and practice relationship in studies developed out of creativity based on previously developed knowledge and skills.
3	Possesses knowledge of art and aesthetics that may facilitate production.
4	Develops and improves his knowledge, methods and techniques in the field based on bachelor’s competencies.
5	Establishes relationships between his knowledge, methods and techniques and other disciplines.
6	interprets a work of art, which requires higher plastic art order skills
7	plans and manages the phases of art / science studies
8	Creates personal art and design process and method and can project these works.
9	Defines his / her targets in art and culture environment.
10	İnterprets and criticizes his /her art works or other\\\'s.
11	He/she can access and compile resources related to his/her research topic, relate them to his/her own work, present them at a scientific meeting, or publish his/her work in an academic publication.
12	Defines and effectively expresses the meaning of his works, their aims and values for his target audience.
13	Participates in discussions on art and design, effectively conveys his/her views and communicates with the society.
14	Has effective communication skills to take part in national and international project teams.
15	Acquires knowledge about computer software and information and communication technologies at the level required by his/her field.
