    Eskişehir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences, founded in 1958, formed the basis of Anadolu University. The Academy was replaced by Anadolu University in 1982, which has gained a well-deserved place as a modern, dynamic and innovative institution among the largest universities not only in Türkiye, but also in the world.

    Kısa adıyla BAP (Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri), yüksek öğretim kurumlarındaki bilimsel araştırmaların desteklenmesi amacıyla geliştirilmiş bir uygulamadır. Bu uygulama YÖK'ün 01.01.2002 tarihinden geçerli olmak üzere yürülüğe aldığı Yükseköğretim Kurumları Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri Hakkında Yönetmelik uyarınca gerçekleştirilmektedir. Üniversitemizin tüm öğretim elemanları BAP Komisyonuna başvurarak bilimsel araştırmaları için kaynak alabilirler.

    At Anadolu University, social and cultural activities are as important as education and scientific research. The University frequently holds scientific events such as conferences, seminars, panels, congresses and symposia, and cultural activities such as exhibitions, stage performances and concerts. In addition to smaller conference halls in each unit, Atatürk Culture and Arts Center, Congress Center and Cinema Anadolu on Yunusemre Campus house many activities throughout the year.

# Program Qualifications (Outcomes)
1 give importance to the career development and lifelong learning.
2 have and develop knowledge of counseling and guidance at mastery level
3 realize the interaction between counselling and other disciplines.
4 Make use the knowledge of field efficiently
5 generate original knowledge by integrate functionally the information that produced in the field of counseling and different disciplines.
6 Solve problems by using scientific research methods
7 use the computer programs that required of the counseling proficiency as well as information and communication thecnologies at advanced level.
8 design a problem by oneself, develop a solution for that problem, apply the solution, evaluate the results and apply that designed strategy to the realty when its necessary.
9 take responsibility to develop original strategies for thecomplex unforseensituations in application.
10 lead studies by oneself and as a member of a team.
11 evaluate the information that developed in the field of counseling by a critical viewpoint.
12 Share the current developments and his/her own studies.
13 have positive attitudes towards psychological counseling and guidance services.
14 examine the social relations and the rules guiding them, by taking action towards improve and change those rules when its necessary.
15 communicate both in writing and orally inat least one foreign language.
16 share the information that are produced in counseling and guidance field in national and international level.
