    Eskişehir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences, founded in 1958, formed the basis of Anadolu University. The Academy was replaced by Anadolu University in 1982, which has gained a well-deserved place as a modern, dynamic and innovative institution among the largest universities not only in Türkiye, but also in the world.

    Kısa adıyla BAP (Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri), yüksek öğretim kurumlarındaki bilimsel araştırmaların desteklenmesi amacıyla geliştirilmiş bir uygulamadır. Bu uygulama YÖK'ün 01.01.2002 tarihinden geçerli olmak üzere yürülüğe aldığı Yükseköğretim Kurumları Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri Hakkında Yönetmelik uyarınca gerçekleştirilmektedir. Üniversitemizin tüm öğretim elemanları BAP Komisyonuna başvurarak bilimsel araştırmaları için kaynak alabilirler.

    At Anadolu University, social and cultural activities are as important as education and scientific research. The University frequently holds scientific events such as conferences, seminars, panels, congresses and symposia, and cultural activities such as exhibitions, stage performances and concerts. In addition to smaller conference halls in each unit, Atatürk Culture and Arts Center, Congress Center and Cinema Anadolu on Yunusemre Campus house many activities throughout the year.

  • Student will be able to recognize general information about composition.
  • 1.1. Student explains general information about composition. 1.2. describes the difference between oral and written composition. 1.3. recognizes the differences in stages of written composition. 1.4. lists the ways of improving ideas in paragraph in written composition. 1.5. distinguishes the ways of improving ideas in a paragraph in written composition.
  • Student will be able to identify the basic punctuation marks in Turkish.
  • 2.1. Student recognizes the historical process of the use of punctuation marks. 2.2. explains the importance of the use of punctuation marks in written expression. 2.3. lists the basic punctuation marks in Turkish. 2.4. distinguishes the features of basic Turkish punctuation marks.
  • Student will be able to recognize Turkish spelling rules.
  • 3.1. Student explains the importance of the rules of spelling in written expression. 3.2. explains the general rules that must be followed in written expression. 3.3. distinguishes the spelling rules of words and affixes.
  • Student will be able to recognize opinion essays among written essay types.
  • 4.1. Student describes the general characteristics of opinion essays. 4.2. lists the types of opinion essays. 4.3. distinguishes the types of opinion essays.
  • Student will be able to recognize the artistic texts among written texts.
