Profile of the Programme

There are many organizations and experts in Turkey for the evaluation of intellectual disability for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is accompanied by intellectual disability. However, there is a need for expert support in the guidance, evaluation, planning and monitoring of individuals with ASD, which are accompanied by special talent. For this purpose, there is a need for trained expert support. Considering the education of individuals with ASD and especially individuals with ASD, which is accompanied by twice the difference, it is thought that the Autism Spectrum Disorder Master's Program with Thesis, which includes courses specific to the characteristics of these children, can meet this need. In terms of program content, the program focuses twice on differences such as the lack of ASD and the ASD, as well as the intellectual disability accompanying ASD and special ability. In this context, the Autism Spectrum Disorder Education Master's Program with Thesis will evaluate and contribute to the development of individuals with ASD, make family counseling, reflect their knowledge and skills to the ASD education services, identify problems encountered and develop solutions, follow scientific developments, and improve their academic knowledge and skills, train special education experts highly equipped and qualified ASD who can use in the professional field; to increase our students' personal and professional experience in the field of ASD, to follow national and international scientific studies and to conduct scientific research. In the field of education of students with ASD, it is aimed to develop educational strategies and projects by generating information in line with the needs of the country by using contemporary approaches related to children, families, educators and society, as well as extending the use of these information and services universally.
