    Eskişehir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences, founded in 1958, formed the basis of Anadolu University. The Academy was replaced by Anadolu University in 1982, which has gained a well-deserved place as a modern, dynamic and innovative institution among the largest universities not only in Türkiye, but also in the world.

    Kısa adıyla BAP (Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri), yüksek öğretim kurumlarındaki bilimsel araştırmaların desteklenmesi amacıyla geliştirilmiş bir uygulamadır. Bu uygulama YÖK'ün 01.01.2002 tarihinden geçerli olmak üzere yürülüğe aldığı Yükseköğretim Kurumları Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri Hakkında Yönetmelik uyarınca gerçekleştirilmektedir. Üniversitemizin tüm öğretim elemanları BAP Komisyonuna başvurarak bilimsel araştırmaları için kaynak alabilirler.

    At Anadolu University, social and cultural activities are as important as education and scientific research. The University frequently holds scientific events such as conferences, seminars, panels, congresses and symposia, and cultural activities such as exhibitions, stage performances and concerts. In addition to smaller conference halls in each unit, Atatürk Culture and Arts Center, Congress Center and Cinema Anadolu on Yunusemre Campus house many activities throughout the year.

Learning Outcomes

  • Explain the general construction of microcomputer system.
  • Explain that a microcomputer system consists of CPU, RAM and ROM memories, input /output interfaces and peripheral units. And explain how to make receiving and sending of data explain the terms of ‘address and data bus’
  • Examine the units in microcomputer system.
  • Draw a simple memory schema, explain the planning of memory of microcomputer system.
  • Examine the construction of CPU, know registers and bus systems.
  • Show how to run an instruction in a ample microcomputer system.( Fetch, decode, execute )
  • Compare microprocessors and microcontroller.
  • Know the structural differences between microprocessors and microcontrollers.
  • Express that the classical type of microprocessors consists of not only CPU but they consist of I / O , timer etc, interface units.
  • Express that microcontrollers are the only an integrated construction equipped by processor, I / O, timer ADC / DAC, serial communication unit etc.
  • Express that both microprocessors and microcontrollers are used as controlling unit in similar industrial applications and there is a grand similarity in programme logic.
  • Explain to set up microprocessors and microcontrollers system.
  • Set up the connection between processor and very important part, oscillator part, of a microprocessors / microcontroller and explain how to work it.
  • Set up the connections between RESET and power parts of the system and Express their working.
  • Explain the duties of control lines and if it is necessary, set up the connection.
  • Express that processor will programme with hex. cod.
  • Show their knowledge and ability of software which will be used for programming of process in assembly or advanced level.
  • Explain the information of introduction to programming.
  • Explain the arranging of the typical assembly language programme and its structure. Explain that this programme should be written in a general form consists of blocks ‘Label Area” Instruction Area” “Explaining Area “.
  • Put the instruction in a row according to aims of usage.
  • Draw flow diagram.
  • Think the relation between programme and flow diagram
  • Transfer a programme written in assembly language into hex. cod.
  • Apply programming.
  • Realize the data transfer
  • Write the programme by using the instructions of conditioned branching.
  • Explain what the LOOP is. Know how to write instructions which have to be repeated in the programme, in the loop.
  • Explain sub programme .If it is necessary, know how to use it and apply.
  • Write and apply programmes consist of arithmetic and logical works and shift work.
