    Eskişehir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences, founded in 1958, formed the basis of Anadolu University.     Kısa adıyla BAP (Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri), yüksek öğretim kurumlarındaki bilimsel araştırmaların desteklenmesi amacıyla geliştirilmiş bir uygulamadır. Bu uygulama YÖK'ün 01.01.2002 tarihinden geçerli olmak üzere yürülüğe aldığı Yükseköğretim Kurumları Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri Hakkında Yönetmelik uyarınca gerçekleştirilmektedir. Üniversitemizin tüm öğretim elemanları BAP Komisyonuna başvurarak bilimsel araştırmaları için kaynak alabilirler.

    At Anadolu University, social and cultural activities are as important as education and scientific research. The University frequently holds scientific events such as conferences, seminars, panels, congresses and symposia, and cultural activities such as exhibitions, stage performances and concerts. In addition to smaller conference halls in each unit, Atatürk Culture and Arts Center, Congress Center and Cinema Anadolu on Yunusemre Campus house many activities throughout the year.

# Field Qualifications
1 Students will be able to lead multidisciplinary teams, develop solution approaches for complicated situations and take responsibility.
2 Students will be able to share the developments, problems and their possible solution alternatives of their field with social shareholders, and possess the ability to lead to optimal solutions within scientific framework.
3 Students will be able to develop and deepen their knowledge acquired based on undergraduate level learning outcomes in maintenance, design and performance calculation of aircraft and its engines systems of study to master level in the same field and its related branches of study.
4 Students will be aware of new and developing practices in the field of their job and examine and learn them in case of necessity.
5 Students will be able to develop strategic approaches in order to solve unpredictable complicated problems appearing in maintenance and its collateral engineering fields of airvehicles and its propulsion systems, and offer solutions by taking responsibility.
6 Students will be able to theoretically comprehend the multi-disciplinary interactions between the fields directly or indirectly related to the Transportstion field of study (social economics, law, related engineering disciplines etc.) and possess the skills of implementing them efficiently and effectively.
7 Students will be able to complete and implement the knowledge using limited or missing data through scientific methods, and integrates them with the ones of other disciplines.
8 Students will be able to build engineering problems related maintenance, design and performance of aircraft and its engines and develop methods for their solutions and implement innovative methods in these solutions.
9 Students will be able to develop new and/or original ideas and methods and produce innovative solutions for the design of systems, components and processes.
10 Students will be able to design and implement research studies based on analytical, modeling and experimental methods, and solve complex problems and interpret the results.
11 Student will be able to solve problems regarding their field using scientific methods.
12 Students will be able to independently conduct a scientific study which requires expertise in the field of aircraft structure, aircraft maintenance, aircraft materials and propulsion systems and its collateral fields.
13 Students will be able to define problems of their field of study using scientific methods, develop methods of solution, and implement them efficiently and effectively.
14 Students will be able to access wide and deep knowledge by conducting independent scientific research in engineering field in the content of maintenance, design and performance of aircraft and propulsion systems; assess, interpret and implement the knowledge.
15 Students will be able to generate the new knowledge using their knowledge-processing skills and develop their implementation, control, feedback and evaluation skills.
16 Students will be able to perform leadership in case the problems regarding maintenance, design and performance of aircraft and propulsion system which are required to be solved.
17 Students will be able to complete the knowledge regarding maintenance, design and performance of aircraft and propulsion systems and its branches using scientific methods, be aware of related implementations and integrate the knowledge regarding the related disciplines.
18 Students will be able to assess the knowledge regarding the related branches of their field using a critical approach, compare, analyze and synthesize them and obtain self-organizing ability.
19 Students will be able to present process and results of their studies, development and results of other studies in the field orally and in written form in national and international means using a systematic approach.
20 Students will be able to perceive social, legal, financial and environmental aspects of engineering in the content of aircraft and propulsion systems, develop them with their proposals, plan changes contributing to the solution of problems using forecasts and implement them.
21 Students will be able to use computer software at a required level by their field besides using informatics and communication technologies at advanced level.
