Eskişehir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences, founded in 1958, formed the basis of Anadolu University. The Academy was replaced by Anadolu University in 1982, which has gained a well-deserved place as a modern, dynamic and innovative institution among the largest universities not only in Türkiye, but also in the world.

Kısa adıyla BAP (Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri), yüksek öğretim kurumlarındaki bilimsel araştırmaların desteklenmesi amacıyla geliştirilmiş bir uygulamadır. Bu uygulama YÖK'ün 01.01.2002 tarihinden geçerli olmak üzere yürülüğe aldığı Yükseköğretim Kurumları Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri Hakkında Yönetmelik uyarınca gerçekleştirilmektedir. Üniversitemizin tüm öğretim elemanları BAP Komisyonuna başvurarak bilimsel araştırmaları için kaynak alabilirler.

At Anadolu University, social and cultural activities are as important as education and scientific research. The University frequently holds scientific events such as conferences, seminars, panels, congresses and symposia, and cultural activities such as exhibitions, stage performances and concerts. In addition to smaller conference halls in each unit, Atatürk Culture and Arts Center, Congress Center and Cinema Anadolu on Yunusemre Campus house many activities throughout the year.

1. Weeks	General explanation and introduction to the course; seperating in to groups for studying.
2. Weeks	Giving subjects to groups and defining survey drawing and a requirement of it.
3. Weeks	Requirements working before beginnig a restoration project. Introduction to take the measurement of survey drawing and drawing technique by using compass.
4. Weeks	Drawing techniques of survey drawing and to take the measurement of horizontal and vertical dimenstions and transfer these measures to the paper.
5. Weeks	The devolepment of historic preservation idea up to now . Interview on the survey drawing project.
6. Weeks	Cultural properties and the criteria of historic preservation. Interview on the survey drawing project.
7. Weeks	The factors that cause to damage to the cultural properties. Interview on the survey drawing project.
8. Weeks	Repeat the course by using slayt show. Interview on the survey drawing project.
9. Weeks	The techniques of restoration, reinforced,reintegration, renovation. Midterm, the presantation of the survey drawing project.
10. Weeks	Contemporary addition, adaptive use, reconstrüktion, cleaning.
11. Weeks	Relocation and archeological restoration.
12. Weeks	Repeat by using slayt show.
13. Weeks	Preservation education and laws on historic preservation of the cultural properties.
14. Weeks	General evaluation of the course.
