    Eskişehir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences, founded in 1958, formed the basis of Anadolu University. The Academy was replaced by Anadolu University in 1982, which has gained a well-deserved place as a modern, dynamic and innovative institution among the largest universities not only in Türkiye, but also in the world.

    Kısa adıyla BAP (Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri), yüksek öğretim kurumlarındaki bilimsel araştırmaların desteklenmesi amacıyla geliştirilmiş bir uygulamadır. Bu uygulama YÖK'ün 01.01.2002 tarihinden geçerli olmak üzere yürülüğe aldığı Yükseköğretim Kurumları Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri Hakkında Yönetmelik uyarınca gerçekleştirilmektedir. Üniversitemizin tüm öğretim elemanları BAP Komisyonuna başvurarak bilimsel araştırmaları için kaynak alabilirler.

    At Anadolu University, social and cultural activities are as important as education and scientific research. The University frequently holds scientific events such as conferences, seminars, panels, congresses and symposia, and cultural activities such as exhibitions, stage performances and concerts. In addition to smaller conference halls in each unit, Atatürk Culture and Arts Center, Congress Center and Cinema Anadolu on Yunusemre Campus house many activities throughout the year.

Learning Outcomes

  • To be informed on up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge on theory and practice applied for general educational purposes and specific subject area training, and on fundamental concepts and theoretical background that would contribute to this knowledge
  • To be educated on how to reach necessary information for lifelong learning
  • To be able to plan and organize efficient educational processes in line with student expectations and educational purposes based on theoretical and practical knowledge from the field of education
  • To be able to use a variety of training technologies in different learning environments
  • To be able to review field studies according to academic criteria, to assess proposed data, and to bring about new approaches
  • To acquire an ability of academic literacy at a level to keep up with the latest developments in the field and to be informed on the necessary tools and methods in order to carry out research related to the field
  • To acquire an ability of reviewing scholarly debates in the field and making analyses resting upon academic notions
  • To form collaborative forums in order to solve practical problems
  • To have an understanding of objective that would serve produce solution-oriented projects to contribute the cooperation between educational institutions and society
  • To keep up with the latest developments in the field through literature review, seminar studies, proceedings, workshops and to share educational attainment with the members of the field
  • To be innovator, enlightened and to have a consciousness of environment and social justice, and respect against moral qualities
