Eskişehir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences, founded in 1958, formed the basis of Anadolu University. The Academy was replaced by Anadolu University in 1982, which has gained a well-deserved place as a modern, dynamic and innovative institution among the largest universities not only in Türkiye, but also in the world.

Anadolu University Open Education System plays an essential role in overcoming educational problems of Türkiye not only by providing open and distance education to 1 million active students and 3.5 million graduates but also by developing specific projects. Kısa adıyla BAP (Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri), yüksek öğretim kurumlarındaki bilimsel araştırmaların desteklenmesi amacıyla geliştirilmiş bir uygulamadır. Bu uygulama YÖK'ün 01.01.2002 tarihinden geçerli olmak üzere yürülüğe aldığı Yükseköğretim Kurumları Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri Hakkında Yönetmelik uyarınca gerçekleştirilmektedir. Üniversitemizin tüm öğretim elemanları BAP Komisyonuna başvurarak bilimsel araştırmaları için kaynak alabilirler.

At Anadolu University, social and cultural activities are as important as education and scientific research. The University frequently holds scientific events such as conferences, seminars, panels, congresses and symposia, and cultural activities such as exhibitions, stage performances and concerts. In addition to smaller conference halls in each unit, Atatürk Culture and Arts Center, Congress Center and Cinema Anadolu on Yunusemre Campus house many activities throughout the year.

REMOTE SENSING

Learning Outcomes

Graphic Expression Skill; will be able to formally express each stage of the presentation process with various techniques using computer technologies to make appropriate presentations.
Research Skills; will be able to obtain, evaluate, record and apply information.
Numerical analysis skills: Acquire basic mathematical and analytical thinking skills necessary for solving spatial problems.
Spatial Perception: Develop two and three dimensional spatial perception and visual perception.
Principles of remote sensing: Gain basic data preparation skills in remote sensing.
Spatial data creation and integration: To have a basic knowledge of technical subjects such as photogrammetry, geodesy, remote sensing used in the creation of maps, the ability to use projection transformations and parameters for the integration of different data, the ability to use global positioning system.
Analysis and interpretation in remote sensing: Students will be able to gain the ability to analyze and interpret data for GIS using remote sensing methods.
Ability to benefit from examples: Will be able to identify examples that are appropriate in terms of content and content for the program and problem in the creation and development of their projects.
Land conditions: To be able to perceive the natural and artificial features of the land and to develop solutions based on land conditions.
Project design with remote sensing techniques: Students will be able to gain basic working and project design skills with remote sensing data and techniques.
