    Eskişehir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences, founded in 1958, formed the basis of Anadolu University.     Kısa adıyla BAP (Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri), yüksek öğretim kurumlarındaki bilimsel araştırmaların desteklenmesi amacıyla geliştirilmiş bir uygulamadır. Bu uygulama YÖK'ün 01.01.2002 tarihinden geçerli olmak üzere yürülüğe aldığı Yükseköğretim Kurumları Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri Hakkında Yönetmelik uyarınca gerçekleştirilmektedir. Üniversitemizin tüm öğretim elemanları BAP Komisyonuna başvurarak bilimsel araştırmaları için kaynak alabilirler.

    At Anadolu University, social and cultural activities are as important as education and scientific research. The University frequently holds scientific events such as conferences, seminars, panels, congresses and symposia, and cultural activities such as exhibitions, stage performances and concerts. In addition to smaller conference halls in each unit, Atatürk Culture and Arts Center, Congress Center and Cinema Anadolu on Yunusemre Campus house many activities throughout the year.

Learning Outcomes

  • Will be able to define health.
  • To be able to identify the factors affecting health, Explain basic health services activities, Explain the delivery of health services, Explain the concepts of health protection and promotion, will have the knowledge and skills to list the characteristics of health legislation.
  • Explain the importance of reproductive health services
  • Will be able to list family planning methods, express the principles of using methods, Will be able to list sexually transmitted diseases and explain their characteristics, Will be able to discuss the factors affecting women's / maternal health and the measures that can be taken, will have the knowledge and skills to discuss the factors affecting infant/child health and what needs to be done for infant/child health.
  • Defines normal biological aging and senility
  • Will be able to describe the biological aging theories, Explain the biological and physiological changes that occur with aging in major body systems, Evaluate the factors affecting healthy aging acquire knowledge and skills.
  • Defines the differences between physical activity and exercise
  • Will be able to explain the harms of lack of physical activity on health and the benefits of regular physical activity, Will be able to describe exercise types and features, Evaluate the importance and rules of exercise in children, young, adult, elderly, pregnant and newly born mothers, Will be able to distinguish the risk factors affecting health and safety in exercise.
  • Defines adequate, balanced and healthy nutrition
  • Explain the nutrients and their functions, You will have the knowledge and skills to count food groups
  • Explain the concept of hygiene and the importance of hygiene
  • Explain the relationship between the concepts of hygiene and sanitation, Be able to practice how to do personal hygiene, Be able to explain cleanliness You will have the knowledge and skills to describe sanitation
  • Evaluates the systems in our body and some system-specific diseases.
  • Explain the causes of diseases, Discuss the symptoms (signs) of diseases, You will have the knowledge and skills to explain the diagnosis and treatment principles of some important diseases due to their frequent consequences in our society.
  • Defines the concept of chronic disease and its characteristics
  • will be able to list the chronic diseases that are common in the society, Describe the risk factors associated with chronic diseases, You will have the knowledge and skills to discuss the importance of lifestyle in the formation and prevention of chronic diseases.
