Eskişehir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences, founded in 1958, formed the basis of Anadolu University. The Academy was replaced by Anadolu University in 1982, which has gained a well-deserved place as a modern, dynamic and innovative institution among the largest universities not only in Türkiye, but also in the world.

Anadolu University Open Education System plays an essential role in overcoming educational problems of Türkiye not only by providing open and distance education to 1 million active students and 3.5 million graduates but also by developing specific projects. Kısa adıyla BAP (Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri), yüksek öğretim kurumlarındaki bilimsel araştırmaların desteklenmesi amacıyla geliştirilmiş bir uygulamadır. Bu uygulama YÖK'ün 01.01.2002 tarihinden geçerli olmak üzere yürülüğe aldığı Yükseköğretim Kurumları Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri Hakkında Yönetmelik uyarınca gerçekleştirilmektedir. Üniversitemizin tüm öğretim elemanları BAP Komisyonuna başvurarak bilimsel araştırmaları için kaynak alabilirler.

At Anadolu University, social and cultural activities are as important as education and scientific research. The University frequently holds scientific events such as conferences, seminars, panels, congresses and symposia, and cultural activities such as exhibitions, stage performances and concerts. In addition to smaller conference halls in each unit, Atatürk Culture and Arts Center, Congress Center and Cinema Anadolu on Yunusemre Campus house many activities throughout the year.

identify the physical geography of the Ottoman Art, and largely explain the examples in the historical process of the Anatolia, the Balkan Peninsola, North Africa and the middle East.
examine the samples of the Early Ottoman Art, Classic period of the Ottoman Art, the Ottoman Art that exist in the west impressionin a comparative way.
identify the architecture, the art of tile making ceramics, and mine examples of the Early Ottoman Arts in a comparative way.
give information about the miniature, textile, stone and wooden workmanship and examples of the Early Ottoman Art. The constitution of the 14th century Ottoman Art 14th century Ottoman Architecture, the build types according to the functions. The Ottoman Mosque Types and axamples, Early Ottoman Architecture, the works of Bilecik, İznik and Bursa The examination of the Ottoman Architecture's works in Anatolia and Rumelia. The examination of the build types like medresseh, tuben, darüşşifa, caravanseria, Turkish bath, bedesten with the examples. 15th century Ottoman Art, Edirne, Ottoman Builds and the examination of the partable Ottoman's works that belongs to this period. The Meterial Tecnique Style and the Adornment. 16th Century Ottoman Art, the Classical Period and the Architect Sinan, the examination of the works as the architecture, the art of tile making, ceramics, miniature, paiting, textile, mine of the Ottoman Art in 16th and 17th centuries.
