Eskişehir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences, founded in 1958, formed the basis of Anadolu University. The Academy was replaced by Anadolu University in 1982, which has gained a well-deserved place as a modern, dynamic and innovative institution among the largest universities not only in Türkiye, but also in the world.

Kısa adıyla BAP (Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri), yüksek öğretim kurumlarındaki bilimsel araştırmaların desteklenmesi amacıyla geliştirilmiş bir uygulamadır. Bu uygulama YÖK'ün 01.01.2002 tarihinden geçerli olmak üzere yürülüğe aldığı Yükseköğretim Kurumları Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri Hakkında Yönetmelik uyarınca gerçekleştirilmektedir. Üniversitemizin tüm öğretim elemanları BAP Komisyonuna başvurarak bilimsel araştırmaları için kaynak alabilirler.

At Anadolu University, social and cultural activities are as important as education and scientific research. The University frequently holds scientific events such as conferences, seminars, panels, congresses and symposia, and cultural activities such as exhibitions, stage performances and concerts. In addition to smaller conference halls in each unit, Atatürk Culture and Arts Center, Congress Center and Cinema Anadolu on Yunusemre Campus house many activities throughout the year.

Field Qualifications

#	Field Qualifications
1	He/She uses the theoretical and practical knowledge which are at the expertise level and gained in the field of cosmetology
2	At the level required by the field of cosmetology, he/she knows the other technological tools, including computers, and the devices and tools specific to the field at a basic level theoretically.
3	He/She writes the report of his/her researches
4	He/She interprets and combines the information in the field of cosmetology with different disciplines, makes analysis and synthesis with using different research methods and brings new solution proposals
5	He/She has advanced knowledge about technological tools including computer and field-specific devices and instruments
6	He/She contributes the studies related to national and international health politics for cosmetology development
7	He/She publishes and presents ascientific article related to his/her fieldin national journal or in scientific meeting
8	He/She analyses, develops social relations and norms associated with these relations and manages to change when required
9	He/She cares about the social, scientific and ethical values in the process of gathering, registering and publication of the information related to cosmetic field and teaches these values
10	He/She assesses the current developments in the cosmetology field according to the child and family who are the basic unit of society
11	He/Shecomprehends and uses the interaction between the disciplines related to cosmetic field
12	He/She knows the importance of ethical principles and ethical committees for the individual and the society and behaves ethically.
