Radio and television programs at the Distance Education System are produces at the Radio and TV Production Center and aired through national TRT channels. The Production Center equipped with professional systems houses two studios, analog and digital editing systems, a 2-D and 3-D electronic graphic unit, a live broadcasting bus, camera, lighting, and sound equipments for outdoor shots, a digital sound studio, a tape reproduction unit, and décor and make-up unit.
Around 200 experienced experts, ranging from directors to technical staff, are employed in the Production Center.
TV programs are also sent to students, for a small price, in DVD formats. Students are provided with a guide that lists the schedule of TV programs. TV program schedule is also published at the OEF web site.
Student who are enrolled to the Western Europe Program receive TV programs as CD’s.
