 The school aims to educate future physical education teachers and to train future professional coaches and athletes in various sports. Equipped with modern training and exercise facilities, the school strives to train both physically and mentally well-trained and skilled athletes. Each student is accepted to individual programs according to their physical performance and ability. Many of the undergraduates participate in intercollegiate varsity or club competitions.

 This newly founded school was established with the intention of preparing students for careers in performing arts. Students in all departments take courses in theory and art as well as enjoying the privilege of working with some of the leading masters of Turkish music and theatre. The school also supports a secondary education program where prospective students are trained in their respective areas of performing arts and music to prepare them for their future years in the schools. Completion of the programs in various departments requires that the students achieve a high level of competence in order to begin professional work or pursue further studies at the graduate level. The School of Industrial Arts was established in 1993 at Anadolu University. In the year 2000-2001 the Industrial Design, and in 2001-2002, Fashion Design departments started admitting students. The aim of the Department of Industrial Design is to graduate modern, dynamic and well qualified industrial designers. Computer aided design education, a requirement in contemporary design education, is supported by software that is the product of the latest technology. Students graduating from this department can work as freelance designers in firms and in the research and development departments of government facilities, and design studios. The Department of Fashion Design aims to graduate well qualified designers who can satisfy the needs of an ever changing and developing fashion industry and who can use new technologies to organize design processes. Students graduating from this department can work as freelance designers as well as working in the ready-to-wear clothing industry, in design studios, establishments and firms related to performance arts, cinema and television establishments and many other related enterprises.  The School of Civil Aviation was established in 1986 to provide qualified personnel for the rapidly growing Turkish Aviation industry. The School was the first educational and training organization in Turkey to meet all the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Association’s standards. Since there are a large number of career opportunities throughout the aviation industry, our graduates can easily find jobs.
The School of Civil Aviation offers an intensive combination of theoretical and laboratory courses in well designed and equipped facilities. The School has its own Airport with a 2600 m long illuminated runway, which is equipped with ILS, VOR, NDB and DME. It operates a fleet of 20 aircraft for in-flight laboratory teaching, and a maintenance center for repairing various types of aircraft. The School has been supported by national and international aviation institutions and has mutual cooperation agreements with several aviation industries. It also provides special programs to offer in-service training to air traffic controllers, pilots and technicians for the state-owned and private aviation sectors.  School of Foreign Languages has three distinct functions. The School provides intensive preparatory language programs in English, German, and French for the students enrolled in various programs at Anadolu University. The curriculum is designed to equip students with the language skills which will enable them to cope in multi-lingual academic, social, and work environments. Anadolu University places a great importance on this school since one of its primary aims is to educate students who can perform and compete on international platforms. Similarly, the second function of the school is to offer foreign language courses to furnish students with the ability to communicate in different languages. The third function is to train multi-lingual translators and interpreters who would perform in national and international functions with the competence that is required in our global society.
