High School Diploma plus placement by Student Selection and Placement Centre according to the score obtained in the Student Selection Examination and the student's preferences or Vocational High School Diploma plus placement by the Student Selection and Placement Centre according to the student's preferences and his High School graduation average.For foreign students, High School Diploma plus placement of the student by the university according to his score in Foreign Student Examination and student's preferences.

May apply to bachelor's programmes in related fields of study provided that the student obtains sufficient score in the Vertical Transfer Examination administered by the Student Selection Centre or may apply to bachelor's degree completion programmes in related fields of study in Distance Education System.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The department was established in 1992. 3 instructors and 1 chemist are currently working in the department. The decisions related with the department the are made by director of Bilecik Vocation School.
The chemical field is a diversified one, serving a production oriented market and,at the same time, being used as a support field to other technical areas. In that respect chemistry is the driving force of plastics, paint,fiber,fertilizer,fuel,solvent and petrochemical industries.Chemistry is also the backbone of modern medicine, biomedical research and pharmacology. It is therefore important that the various technicians play in this industry.
Chemical technicians can work in chemical laboratories, in process operation units, in medical centers, in research and in teaching institutions.
PURPOSE
The proposed program is designed to introduce the trainees to the fundamental concepts of chemistry and chemical process manufacturing, as well as applicable hands-on practice, experiments and the operation of modern chemical testing equipment.
The major role of a chemical technician is to assist the senior chemists and the chemical engineer in the operation of their organizations. It is , therefore, essential that the chemical techinican has both extensive knowledge of the basic chemical principles and the ability to control and operate specific, high-technology equipment.

Computer Laboratory
Students may use the computer lab facilities of the Bilecik Vocation School . All computers in the computer labs have internet connection and a number of software applications are available related to their studies.
